Sensei Chantelle Allan is a full time professional instructor who began training in 2007, last year in March 2019 Chantelle passed Sandan (3rd Dan) Under Kagawa Sensei 9th Dan from the JKS Honbu Dojo in Japan.

At the age of 18, she became a qualified instructor. In 2015 Chantelle established Lanarkshire Karate Academy and began teaching full time in North Lanarkshire. Then in 2017 Chantelle opened up Lanarkshire Karate Academy's first full time dojo.

Chantelle has been a member of the Scotland Elite Karate squad competing at National and International level. Chantelle has represented the Scotland team at both European and World Championships, attending her first European Championships in Switzerland in 2014 and first World championships in Poland in 2015. Since then Chantelle has competed and medalled in many more International Championships.

At the 2017 North Lanarkshire Council Sport Awards Chantelle was presented with an award for  'Community coach of the year' for her work with Lanarkshire Karate Academy and taking Karate classes in the local schools.

Chantelle is fully qualified to teach Karate and are registered with Disclosure Scotland/PVG and recognised by Sport Scotland.

The main objective is to develop Lanarkshire Karate Academy into a popular club known for its high standard of Shotokan Karate and competition success. Chantelle continues to train and compete at the highest level to pass her knowledge and experience to some potential future champions. At Lanarkshire Karate Academy we have many Scottish, British and even International champions. ​
